We invite you to attend the 2022 Hybrid Annual AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) Network Meeting which will be held from Tuesday, June 14, through Friday, June 17, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel Washington, DC.

We will hold major sessions beginning the morning of Tuesday, June 14, through the morning of Friday, June 17. Below is an overview of the meeting format. Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging. A limited number of sleeping rooms may be reserved at a special rate at the Omni Shoreham Hotel if you make arrangements prior to Sunday, May 15.

The special rate is $299.00 per night for single or double occupancy, plus 14.5% tax. These rates are offered only from Friday, June 10, through Wednesday, June 22, based on availability.

In order to ensure adequate sleeping room availability, we request that you make your hotel reservations with the Omni Shoreham Hotel after your travel arrangements are finalized and that you do not reserve large numbers of sleeping rooms, unless it is certain that the rooms will be used. If ACTG meeting-rate sleeping rooms are reserved and subsequently canceled, the ACTG may incur a penalty.

Note that registering at the hotel does not automatically register you for the meeting.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Long-Distance Travel:
Participants are responsible for arranging their own air/rail transportation into the Washington, D.C., area. Three airports serve the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area. From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

By Taxi: Taxi service is available at a cost of approximately $25-$30 one-way. Taxis are located outside the baggage claim area. Travel time from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Shuttle Bus: Follow the signs to “Ground Transportation.” The Super Shuttle has a representative outside the terminal who will call for a shuttle. If you would like more detailed information about the Super Shuttle, call +1-800-BLUE VAN (+1-800-258-3826) or visit http://www.supershuttle.com.

By Metro: Board the Yellow Line going towards Fort Totten/Greenbelt and exit at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Change to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove/Glenmont. Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro Station. The hotel is located one block from the Metro. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the stairs. Go to the left and walk to Calvert Street (one block). Cross the street and take a right. The hotel will be on your left-hand side.

From Washington Dulles International Airport

By Taxi: Taxi service is available at a cost of approximately $70-$75 one-way. Taxis are located outside the baggage claim area. Travel time from Washington Dulles International Airport is approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Shuttle Bus: Follow the signs to “Ground Transportation.” The Super Shuttle departs every half hour during the week and every hour on weekends. From Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport

By Taxi: Taxi service is available at a cost of approximately $100 one-way. Taxis are located outside the baggage claim area. Travel time from BWI Airport is approximately 60 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Union Station (Train)

By Taxi: Taxi service is available at a cost of approximately $16.50 one-way. Allow approximately 10-15 minutes travel time from Union Station to the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

By Metro: Board the Red Line going towards Shady Grove/Glenmont and exit at Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. The hotel is located 1 block from the Metro. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the stairs. Go to the left and walk to Calvert Street (1 block). Cross the street and take a right. The hotel will be on your left-hand side.

For participants who intend to use the Metrorail system, please note that metro will be undergoing maintenance track work during the meeting and participants may experience delays. Covid-19 Protocols:

By registering to attend the meeting in person, you agree to the following requirements:
• Must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations and must show proof of vaccinations. This requirement includes the primary series plus a booster dose for those in the U.S. and the primary series with a booster recommended for international attendees.
• Responsible for any travel-related COVID-19 testing and quarantine requirements as well as possible COVID-19 positive diagnosis isolation requirements, cancelled flights, and extended hotel stay.
• Must adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) travel guidelines per below:

• Wearing surgical mask in session rooms and other in-door events are required depending on U.S. Federal and Washington, D.C. Department of Health guidelines; masks will be provided. The ACTG network reserves the right to mandate mask use during any and all meeting sessions.
